The forum entitled “Intellectual Property Rights – From Creation to Protection” will take place at the University Center on Thursday April 26, 2012 at 7:00 p.m.
The Intellectual Property Office would like to stress that it is important that creators and inventors understand that Intellectual Property is an asset comparable to land and equipment and as such can be owned, bought and sold. The office has observed that many persons are unaware of protecting this valuable asset hence the need for the forum.  The session will also provide an overview of how patents, designs, trademarks and copyright can be used to protect their creations and inventions.
