National Bank partners with the St. Christopher Outreach Centre
Written by Press ReleaseIn a show of goodwill, the St. Kitts-Nevis-Anguilla National Bank Limited recently partnered with the St. Christopher Outreach Centre.
The Centre, established in July 2010, an initiative of the RAMS Group of Companies in collaboration with the St. Kitts Christian Council, provides meals to the shut-ins and underprivileged, counseling to the mentally ill, shower facilities and clean clothing for the homeless.
NATIONAL’S involvement in this program would allow for meals to be served from Monday to Friday weekly.
Sabina Vaughan, in making the presentation on behalf of the Bank, articulated that NATIONAL was proud to be a part of this initiative and that the decision to sponsor was made easier following a visit to the Centre by representatives of the institution. Observations made by the team revealed that the programme is well organized, the facilities well kept and meals well balanced. It was also noted that visitors to the Centre are treated with the utmost dignity. According to Mrs. Vaughan, NATIONAL views its assistance to the disadvantaged in our community as an integral component of its civic duty.
Speaking on behalf of the Centre, Reverend Wycherley Gumbs expressed gratitude to the Bank for its generosity, sharing and caring as well as its commitment to community.
The name NATIONAL has always been synonymous with excellence and generosity and the Management of this exemplary institution has every intention to maintain its leading edge in the banking sector and community outreach programmes.
