CUT games fundraising committee working overtime

As preparations continue to send a group of athletes and officials from Nevis to the upcoming Caribbean union of Teachers (CUT) games scheduled for Jamaica in July, the local fund raising committee is working overtime in an effort to meet their stated objective of raising $100,000.00 EC in order to send at least 20 athletes and officials to the games.


A number of fund raising activities have been planned and the general public is being asked to kindly support the fund raising committee in getting the young athletes to the games which are scheduled for July 18th to 25th.
Here is a list of the upcoming activities:
May & June -    Tag Sale in Schools & Communities
May 11th  -    Hot Dog Day in All Primary Schools at a cost of $7.00
May 19th -    Boat Ride to St. Maarten (Lady Mignon) $350 per person
May 19th -  Pre Whit Party @ Rumours 10 p.m. until
May 26th - NTU Prince & Princess Show @ 6:30 p.m.
Adults $15     Children $10
June 2nd - Trial Meet @ Elquemedo Willet Park
June 23rd - Gospel Concert @ G. S. S. Auditorium 7p.m.
June 30th -     Dance @ Cane Juice Bar & Lounge, Pinney’s Beach Club or V’s
TBA    - Fun Day @ The Villa 12noon until
Raffle:     1st Prize – Blackberry, 2nd Prize – Food Processor, 3rd Prize – Blender (Draw date to be announced)
