Anguilla in ascendancy versus Montserrat

After day one of the three day contest between Anguilla and Montserrat, the Anguilla team was well in the ascendancy with a lead of 119 runs.


Anguilla batted first and scored 190 all out in 47.5 overs with all rounder Chaka Hodge getting a half century.  For the Montserrat team, Tevin Osbourne collected a five fer with his off spinners.
Montserrat in response was bowled out for a mere 84 runs with the spin of Yanick Leonard proving their undoing as he collected seven wickets.
At the end of the day, Anguilla batting a second time was on 13 for no loss.  The Montserrat team will have to do quite a bit on day two in order to get back into the game.
