Food and Beverage wins Four Seasons Tennis ChampionsWritten by Curtis Morton
In front of a sizeable and vociferous crowd, the Food and Beverage team took championship honours in the interdepartmental tennis championship tournament at the Four Seasons Resort.
The tournament was staged on Wednesday 6th June at center court of the prestigious Resort. After all of the preliminary games were played, the two teams surviving the elimination process and making it into the grand finals were the Administrative and General (A and G) and the Food and Beverage Department.
After a few intense rounds of tennis with all four team members of each team getting their moment on the court, the final score line saw:
Food and Beverage 3 A and G 1
The Food and Beverage team was represented by Jon Bruegemann; Vance Rawlins; Kelvin Phillip and Andreas Donnerbauer. The A and G team was represented by Andrew Humphries—General Manager of the Resort; Nihn Ahuja; Barry Ireland and Zenric Hanley.
There was quite a bit of noise at the Resort as every point was cheered on with gusto.
