Beach netball attracts lively gathering

With the KORE band in attendance and a lively, sizeable crowd on hand, the Nevis Netball Association held another in the series of exhibition Netball matches in the continued effort to popularize the sport on the island and also as another fund raising endeavour.
The action took place on Pinneys Beach close to Chevy’s Bar and Grill starting sometime after 3.30 pm on Sunday 10th June.
It was a maximum of four persons per team with just one pole for the competing teams to shoot at. The spectators were thrilled by the aggressive but good natured play of the girls, interspersed with a few males on some of the teams.
The results were as follows:
