Make it three times in a row. The SDA Jets is still to find a solution to deal with the Empire Cricket club jinx. Last year, Empire easily won over them in the second division finals and it was Empire who jinxed them once again in the Hensley Daniel soft ball league, last year as well.

LICA TOURNAMENT PUSHED BACK
Keith Scarborough, President of the Nevis Cricket Association revealed on Monday that he has received information that the Leeward Islands Cricket tournament, previously set to commence this month end, has been pushed back to the 13th June when Nevis takes on Montserrat in Montserrat.

NEVIS UNDER 15’S DEFEAT KITTITIAN COUNTERPARTS
Two matches were scheduled last weekend between the St.Kitts and Nevis under 15 teams. The first match slated for the ET Willet Park on Saturday 11th May had to be called off due to inclement weather.

Rain continues to affect the local cricket season. On Tuesday 7th May, the second division semi final encounter scheduled between Empire and SDA Jets was rained out and on Thursday 9th May, the other semi final encounter scheduled for that division between Highlights and Pennyless All stars, was also rained out, without a ball being bowled.
