There was some disappointment at the ET Willet Park on Tuesday afternoon as the scheduled match in the Pennyless All Stars T-20 tournament had to be postponed due to rain.

Community residents charged for killing shopkeeper

BASSETERRE, ST.KITTS: On Wednesday morning, two residents from St. Paul’s were formally arrested and charged in connection with the recent shooting death of one shopkeeper from that community, Wingrove Parris.
Accused of killing Parris are 28-year-old Saheed Williams and 25-year-old Rayjorn Richards.
ST.KITTS: One man from Sandy Point who was considered armed and dangerous has been captured, just hours after police issued a bulletin on Tuesday.
St. Kitts and Nevis ratifies Maritime Labour Convention

KITTS, (CUOPM) – The Government of St. Kitts and Nevis has deposited with the International Labour Office the instrument of ratification of the Maritime Labour Convention, 2006 (MLC, 2006), thus becoming the 23rd member State to ratify the landmark Convention, which seeks to promote decent working and living conditions for seafarers and also create conditions of fair competition for ship owners.

OAS selects Candidates to Receive Prestigious Scholarship Award

Ms. O’Flaherty was selected to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Engineering and Mrs. Warde-Crawford was selected to write a Doctorate Degree in Clinical Psychology. Both were selected from a field of 10 applicants from the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis.
