Life Lessons from Archery
Dear Editor:
As a child in the 1950’s I watched my fair share of Robin Hood and Cowboys and Indian films in which the bow and arrow played a prominent part in the action. I was fascinated by the bow and arrow it was something different and easy to do. In the early 1970’s while I was at college, I was given a choice of non-credit courses to fill in a time slot during one of my semesters and one of the courses on offer was archery. I was excited at the prospect of learning archery, so I signed up.
