Recently there has been a rash of items in the local press discussing the issue of the increasing problems with monkeys in Nevis. On April 20th an article by Dianne Collins titled “Problems With the Neighbours Next Door” was carried in the St. Kitts-Nevis Observer and the NewsLink newspapers. The neighbours Ms. Collins spoke of are a tribe of ravenous monkeys that have taken up permanent residence it seems, in a vacant plot of land adjacent to her property on which her dwelling is situated.
