Castries, St Lucia – The West Indies Cricket Board has paid tribute to Mr Tom LaFond, who died in his native Dominica on Tuesday at age 65. LaFond was one of the leading administrators on the island and in the Windward sub-region for several decades. He was also a former Manager of the Dominica and Windward Islands teams.

WICB’s New CEO visits St .Kitts

New Chief Executive Officer of the West Indies Cricket Board, Mr. Michael Muirhead visited St.Kitts on Wednesday 14th November. Mr. Muirhead who is on a familiarization visit throughout the Caribbean was accompanied by other top officials of the WICB. The other officials present were:  Mr. Gregory Shillingford-Director and President of LICA; Ms Jennifer Nero-Director; Ms Verlyn Faustin-Corporate Secretary; Mr. Imran Khan—Corporate Communications Officer.  Also present was Chairman of the interim Cricket committee on St.Kitts, Mr. Auckland Hector.
A press conference was held at the conference room of the Warner Park Stadium which started at 2.35 pm.
