CHARLESTOWN, May 9, 2012: The clause, “There shall be a Board of the Trust appointed by the Minister which shall comprise a total of 12 members” contained in the just passed Nevis Heritage and Conservation Bill has allegedly been interpreted to mean that the Nevis Island Administration (NIA) is taking over the Nevis Historical and Conservation Society (NHCS).

Douglas, on last week’s ‘Ask The PM’ radio programme, quashed the comments of one caller who on the topic of nepotism questioned the  appointment Alex Woodley -the mother of his children – as Consul General designate to Dubai.
