BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, AUGUST 24TH 2012 (CUOPM) - Presentations from leading experts on topics including the development of geothermal energy, mechanisms for funding investment in renewable energy, electricity systems integration and energy access solutions for developing countries and strategies for improving energy efficiency and energy access will be made at next month’s Third Caribbean Sustainable Energy Forum and Exhibition (CSEF III).
Manager of the Nevis Craft House located at Pinneys, Ms Dorette Daniel has referred to the recent exhibition held by her institution as ‘a huge success.’ The grand event was held on Thursday 31st May at the grounds of the Craft House. The exhibition and sale commenced at 9am and went on to sometime after 5 pm. Hundreds of individuals took time out from their busy schedules at varying times during the course of the day in order to witness the outstanding craft items produced, using mainly local material.
BASSETERRE, ST.KITTS: Many locals and visitors alike were full praise at last Friday’s concluded CXC Visual Arts Exhibition at Port Zante (March 12-16) which saw a variety of pieces from around the Caribbean region, including St. Kitts /Nevis.
GOVERNMENT ROAD, NEVIS: Those who patronize the Banyan Art Centre art show that opened yesterday (Tuesday March 13) will be able to see outstanding pieces by six artists. Among the artists is 15-year-old Roy Simon.
