RAIN FORCES POSTPONEMENT OF LOCAL T-20 GAME

There was some disappointment at the ET Willet Park on Tuesday afternoon as the scheduled match in the Pennyless All Stars T-20 tournament had to be postponed due to rain.

Colombo, Sri Lanka – West Indies batsmen brought the ICC World T20 to life with some breathtaking strokeplay, but the Windies came up on the losing end against Australia as rain brought their Group B match to an early finish on Saturday night.

Rain Disrupts Dress Rehearsal

It was as sudden as it was unexpected.  The armed and unarmed units were practising their marching strides in preparation for the annual Independence Day parade scheduled for Independence Day 19th September.

RAIN HAMPERS LOCAL MATCHES

All of the scheduled first division matches scheduled for Nevis last weekend, were rained out.  Weather Forecasters at the Vance W. Amory Int Airport, reported that the inclement weather was due to an upper level trough which affected the Leeward islands over the weekend.
